Reducing elbows are used on pipelines to connect when the size of the pipe needs to be changed at a right angle bend.
The function of a reducing elbow is to change the diameter of the pipeline when making a 90 degree turn. The function of the big and small heads is the same, but they cannot be used for turning. The price is about twice as high as an equal diameter elbow. At some construction sites, a bend and a small head are welded together to replace this product. The most common standards are the national standards GB/T12459-2005 and GB/T13401-2005
